Piuttosto deludenti questi Golden Globes, almeno per quanto mi riguarda. Innanzi tutto Babel come miglior film drammatico mi ricorda tanto l'Oscar rubato da Crash l'anno scorso a Brokeback Mountain per il miglior film... E quindi già la cosa non mi piace. H. Mirren e M. Streep scelte come migliori attrici era facile da prevedere, ma comunque si meritano i premi. Assoluta delusione per la vincita di E. Murphy (ma stiamo delirando?!) come attore non protagonista che ha battuto attori come J. Nicholson e M. Wahlberg in The Departed decisamente migliori di lui! Scandalo assoluto per il miglior attore comedy Sacha Baron Cohen (Borat, per intenderci...) che non si sa nemmeno perchè sia stato nominato... Ma la cosa più triste, a mio avviso, è che gli americani proprio non ce la fanno a non autocelebrarsi... Nonostante una volta la categoria fosse Best Foreign Film (miglior film straniero) ora è stata trasformata in Best Foreign Language Film (miglior film in lingua straniera) e di conseguenza anche i film di registi assolutamente americani posso entrare nella cinquina... E infatti chi vince? C. Eastwood. Per carità, è un uomo-genio! Ma che ci levino anche l'unica possibilità di vincere qualcosa a noi non-americani... Tanto vale togliere la categoria... Ultimo shock, prettamente personale, la disfatta totale delle Desperate che cedono il passo ad Ugly Betty e alla sua protagonista. E io che credevo fosse l'anno buono per la mitica M. Cross (Bree)...
